Gayle Gage
Gayle knows first hand how illness and stress can drastically change the course of one’s life. Her own cancer diagnosis in 1990, followed by fibromyalgia, changed the way she works and the way she lives her life. Leaving the high stress corporate life behind, Gayle dove into the world of natural therapies, immersing herself in books, research, and studies. She graduated from several schools including the School of Continuing Education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, several Institutes of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine, and the Ontario College of Reflexology with high honours. Gayle’s love of travel has opened the door to a world of vast cultural differences as she has discovered new spiritual and healing insights from healers around the globe. This wisdom, combined with her experience, ongoing studies and research has been used as the basis for a series of workshops designed for practitioners in general interest therapies and specialized clinical care. Gayle has spent several years working in geriatric and palliative care as a Clinical Aromatherapist and developed protocol and treatment models for nursing staff and families of residents and patients. When her father was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2001, Gayle formulated two specialized creams to minimize radiation burns and scarring, which proved to be highly effective. Over the past decade, Gayle has worked extensively with cancer patients and has become a Healthy Breast Educator for the prevention and management of breast cancer from a naturopathic viewpoint. As several members of Gayle’s family have been attacked by cancer’s various forms she continues her work in this field by spending a minimum of twenty hours each week in independent and peer research review. With an optimistic point of view and the belief in one’s personal power of self-healing, Gayle helps others to turn off the dis-ease in their mind to focus on optimal health in their body. Her greatest joy would be to see the end of breast cancer and continues to work closely in this direction with other wellness practitioners in her global community. Specialized training in:
